Artist statement ~


I'm a fun-loving, creative, hard-working, animal loving, active 45-year-old country gal living in Kentucky who goes by the name of Tamora Bartlett. I absolutely love all animals which spawned my love of doing pet portraits for people of their favorite pets. I'm bad about rescuing any animal I think needs rescuing and luckily married a man who is as bad as I am about it, so we have a full assortment of pets on our little farm. To tell the truth, I have what I call "craft ADD." That means I love learning and doing all sorts of new crafts and arts and pretty much have done most of them, so I love to change around and experiment and sometimes incorporate crafts together, i.e. my mixing polymer clay, beadwork, and hand painting on jewelry items. I am constantly coming up with ideas in my head for new things and just hard to find the time to get to them all since I work a full time job as a medical transcriptionist also, but I keep on trying. I hope to continue to make people happy with what I create. It feels great to be able to produce something special and one of a kind for someone to enjoy.
